Quality overall for winter
High-quality, durable fabric. Pleasant pattern (deep purple). Good reflectors. No unnecessary fur decorations on the hood. I would have liked a wind flap over the zipper, so that's a downside. Size is slightly bigger, but that's not a problem. Finally, the overall has length in the legs, not just in the middle!

Nice and waterproof overall
So far, the overall suit has been excellent in use. It is not too stiff, and the child can easily play while wearing it. Waterproofing was tested by sitting in a fairly deep puddle, after which the inner clothes were completely dry. We have not yet used the suit in severe cold, so we have no experience with that.

Overall, the suit seems great and exactly what we were looking for. However, we did encounter an issue with the hook-and-loop closure at the neck. One side was missing the hook portion, resulting in two loop closures facing each other. It seems that this is not an uncommon occurrence, as I have seen similar complaints in other reviews. This makes me question the effectiveness of their quality check process. Nonetheless, I am aware that Reima has a reputation for excellent customer service, as many families in our nature groups highly recommend them. So, I reached out to them and requested a loop patch to fix the problem. Unfortunately, they informed me that the only solution they could offer was for me to return the suit and have a replacement sent to me. As supporters of the "consumers' right to repair", I find it surprising that they do not have a more environmentally friendly solution for such a common issue. It seems unnecessary to go through the hassle of returning the suit and having a new one shipped just to resolve this minor problem. While it is inconvenient that my daughter cannot close the neck of her suit, sewing a small patch would be a simple fix. Reima, I would appreciate it if you could expand your solutions and not solely rely on carbon-heavy shipments back and forth. This would make me feel more confident in continuing to support your brand.

gathered sleeves and ankles bother my kid
clearly a very high quality, functional, and comfortable snow suit, EXCEPT for the dang elastic gathered sleeves and ankles! this is our first reima suit and my kiddo HATES the feeling of the snow suit gathered into his boots. pulled over top of the boots is better, but it's tricky at his age to do that independently, resulting in meltdowns. if you have a kid who dislikes certain clothing feelings / sensory stuff, this may not be for you :(
