Best snowsuit we’ve had

Wearing this snowsuit my son can stay out as long as he likes without being bothered by the cold

We got this suit for my 8 year old who attends a full time forest school in Michigan. He loves to slide on logs and climb trees, and he lives for mud. He also has sensory issues with clothes and is super picky- no tags, and he will only wear super soft fabrics (cotton tshirts are too scratchy for him). We LOVE this suit. Last year he was wearing through waterproof snow pants that cost in the $70 range about once every 2 months, and they weren't really waterproof. We have a few months of weather around 20 degrees F, and a few months where it's snowy and around 30, and the snow melts before it falls off the kids and they end up soaked. This suit was a game changer. If the outside temp is higher than the teens, he just wears shorts and a tshirt under it, or he gets too hot. He told me he's sat in mud puddles and stayed dry. Somehow dirt doesn't stick to the fabric too badly, so even with his mud bathing we've been able to just shake it out. He rolls down hills and falls off his sled into bushes and slides out of trees with this thing, and it still looks new. I got it big enough that it comes about 3 inches below his feet and he walks on it until he puts his boots on, but then the boots are wide enough that the bottoms of the pants stay up around his ankles and don't get stepped on. The fabric is soft enough that the extra bulk doesn't bother him. It also feels like canvas rather than "snowsuit material" so it doesn't make the snowsuit swishy noise! I'm not sure what dark magic goes into creating this fabric but whatever it is, we are buying it again in two years when he outgrows this one.

The only snowsuit we'll buy

We had (and loved) the toddler version of this snowsuit, so it was an easy choice to buy this one for our growing kid. Excellent design and construction — roomy and remarkably easy to get in and out of — 10/10 per usual.

Super winter suit!

This is our second Reima "Stavanger" winter suit, we are so satisfied with it! The child is well and warm even in temperatures down to -25°C. Bought the same as we had before for the simple reason that the old one had outgrown - and we were very, very satisfied with it. 👍

Excellent quality

My kid loves this waterproof a lot! We have used it for skiing as well and so far it's been a dream!

Minor defects

Otherwise good, but the snaps on the hood are a bit weak. Additionally, one of the buttons on the foot strap came off almost immediately after purchase. Has the quality gone down? Otherwise, it has worked flawlessly, is warm, waterproof, and breathable.

A thicker overall was bought for our 6-year-old sensory hypersensitive child for the very cold weather because he cannot wear intermediate layers, as everything itches/feels uncomfortable. This overall was our absolute savior. The child stays warm even in severe frost and no longer needs to fight about getting dressed when going outside. The child fell in love with the overall immediately the first time and said that it feels like being under a warm blanket <3 Best purchase!

Durable overall

Very durable overall. It has also been warm enough, with a wool overall underneath if necessary. The fur on the hood protects the face. The only complaint is the snap buttons on the cuffs, which open quite easily.

Extreme long delivery

The best suits you wouldn't have ordered directly from Reima if you want them within a week's time. They took over a week to pack it.

The quality is very good and my kids like it. The only issue is it runs a little bit bigger.

Amazing snowsuit

At first got a size a little to big but exchanged went extra smooth and fast. This snowsuit has is an absolute lifesaver during cold winter days. It’s incredibly warm without being bulky, and my child stays cozy even after long hours playing outside in the snow. The insulation is excellent.

Super warm super cute

Excellent for cold snowy days or for chilly rainy day as the waterproofing is top notch. Bought 2T size for my 2. 5 year old (she is small) and there is PLENTY of room to grow into, but it’s not too big or baggy for this year either. She will definitely be wearing it next year at age 3. 5. Glad I didn’t size up to 3T to account for multiple years of use because we can do that with the 2T.
