We planted 1,100 trees on municipal wasteland in Finland with Puuni
Puuni
In 2021, we joined forces with a Finnish company Puuni that leases and reforests municipal wastelands. Together we planted 1,100 tree saplings in Lempäälä, Finland.
During its lifetime, our forest will remove at least 315 tonnes of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere - which compensates for the emissions of our own operations in 2020. It will also offer a habitat for various bugs, bees and other important creatures. We love the idea of our little saplings developing into a real forest over time!
Saving #OURSEA with John Nurminen Foundation
Reima joined Moomin Characters and numerous other brands to save the Baltic Sea. The #OURSEA campaign ran during 2020 until 31 July 2021. The campaign raised funds to clean up the sea, helping marine life thrive and letting kids living around the Baltic swim in cleaner water.
